Today was a beautiful reminder of how God moves when we trust in Him!
A New Beginning Through Faith and Sobriety
When I moved into the Parsons Project, I was still in the early stages of recovery, learning how to live again—this time sober. I was broken, but through faith and the unwavering support of Chris, I found my way back to love, hope, and God’s purpose for my life.
Chris didn’t just offer me a place to stay; he guided me toward healing. He helped me reconnect with my family, rebuild my trust in myself, and most importantly, deepen my relationship with God. Through his encouragement, I was able to reunite with my daughter after two years apart—a moment that changed everything for me.
Parsons Project was more than just a house; it was a new beginning. Today, I am connected with all my children and grandchildren, I have my license and a car, and I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to serve as a District Manager. But above all, I live for the Lord every single day—even through the tough times.
Chris, thank you for answering God’s call and for showing me how to live again—free from the chains of addiction. Because of your kindness and God’s grace, I no longer hide in darkness. I walk in the light of faith, sobriety, and love.
To anyone struggling, know this: God is not done with you yet. Your new beginning is waiting.
