Parsons Project Ministry

Dedicated to serving souls in recovery through the grace of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.

As a recovering addict, I’ve always known how to worship. I worshiped that drug, that needle. I put my faith in the dealer, trusting they’d show up with my next fix. I lived in darkness, enslaved to a false god. But I always say—God creates His strongest warriors when we’re trained in the enemy’s camp.

When I came out of the pits of hell and encountered the love of Jesus, worship took on a whole new meaning. I remember when I first got saved—I was that guy standing stiff, hands in my pockets, unsure of what to do. But today? You’ll see a man on fire for God, unashamed, hands lifted in praise, in love with the One who set me free.

Genuine worship isn’t about a place or a ritual—it comes from the heart, guided by the Holy Spirit and rooted in truth. It’s about surrender, about relationship, about recognizing that He alone is worthy.

My prayer today: Thank You, Heavenly Father, for giving me my life back. I will worship You with every breath You allow me to take. Let others see You in me today, in my words, in my actions, in everything I do. In Your mighty name, I pray. Amen.

Have a blessed day, everyone!
