Parsons Project Ministry
Dedicated to serving souls in recovery through the grace of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.
Romans 8:1 (NLT) — "So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus."
A little over a year ago, I met a woman, fell in love, and walked away from full-time ministry. I moved in with her and began living in sin, trying to convince myself it was still pleasing to God. I got engaged, tithed more, and we even started our mornings with Bible studies. But deep down, I knew—I was out of alignment with God's will.
The conviction set in early. We loved each other, but we argued constantly. I wanted to pursue God wholeheartedly, and she didn’t share the same desire. That’s when I truly understood what it meant to be unequally yoked. When one pulls one way and the other pulls in the opposite, you just go in circles—love, fuse, fight, make up… repeat.
Everything changed on a vacation weekend. On the drive home, I listened to a Ron Carpenter sermon series called Shipwrecked. The drive was 7 hours. The sermon? 7 hours. God spoke to me loud and clear. When I pulled in the driveway, I packed my bags and came home.
God convicted me because He loves me. And I’m not condemned—I’m free.
Free to walk in truth, to realign with my calling, and to walk in grace.
I'm so grateful for His correction—it didn’t shame me, it saved me.
My prayer today:
Heavenly Father, thank You for the unconditional love You continue to show me. Give me the discernment to see that Your conviction isn’t rejection—it’s redirection. It leads me back to Your arms where love is pure, holy, and whole.
In Your sweet name I pray, Amen.
Have a blessed day everyone. Walk in freedom—you belong to Christ. ”
